Europastry extends its high-quality margarine pastry range
The Multigrain Croissant, the Cocoa Croissant, the Delight and the Mini Croissant Sélection d’Or are the new creations.
Europastry has unveiled the latest additions to its Sélection d’Or pastry range for 2017, made with high quality margarines. Its collection combines the best ingredients with a premium margarine base, imparting a delicious traditional butter aroma and an unbeatable flavour and texture. This finely-crafted pastry line benefits from the dough’s long resting periods, transforming time itself into an extra ingredient.
The range of larger items is highly practical, thanks to the thaw and bake system, which ensures that premium ready-to-eat products are always ready to eat. The mini range is perfect for buffets and other catering requirements. The new products include the Multigrain Croissant, topped with a scattering of cereal seeds including oats and sesame; the Cocoa Croissant, with its intense coated golden finish; the Delight, with its intense flavour of double-portioned hazelnuts, and the mini versions of the traditional Croissant Sélection d'Or with its light and versatile format.

The Multigrain Croissant Sélection d’Or with cereal seeds is original and exclusive. Topped with different sized seeds and ready-to-bake, its innovative combination of cereal toppings, including oats, sesame, brown linseed, pumpkin and sunflower seeds of various sizes, make it highly distinctive and deliciously crunchy. As with all the items in the Sélection d’Or range, it is made with an exclusive margarine that adds an unmistakeable flavour and texture.
As for the Cocoa Croissant Sélection d’Or, the long dough fermentation period makes the precise job of sandwiching the layers of fine margarine easier, creating a seductive layering of puff pastry that gives a finer finish, with an intense golden colour and a sprinkling of chocolate flakes. Taste it and you’ll immediately notice its delightful creaminess and appetising chocolate and hazelnut filling, combined with a subtle butter aroma.
The new Delight Sélection d’Or has a distinctively intense flavour thanks to the double portion of hazelnuts, both in the filling and decoration. It has all the features of a traditionally-made product, resulting in a puff pastry Sélection d’Or style, made with premium margarine. The new Napolitana benefits from its pre-fermentation process, and only needs to be thawed and baked to produce a crunchy puff pastry and creamy consistency.
Finally, the mini range has been extended by adding the Sélection D’Or Mini Croissant, a miniature format that lends itself to being served at any time of day, thanks to its lightness and versatility.
