Europastry strengthens presence on online sales platforms
The company has boosted its presence on Ulabox with seven new products and started distributing its products through Foodinthebox.
By the end of 2017Europastry will have expanded its presence on Ulabox and Foodinthebox, two online sales platforms aimed at end customers.
Europastry started selling some of its products on the Ulaboxsite under the Aunt Marian brand in July 2016. Since then, the company has significantly increased its presence in this e-business by including six of the new Saint Honoré products, a range of premium-quality artisan bread, created in honour of the company’s founder Pere Gallés; different varieties of Dots, such as the recent launch of the Halloween Dots, and several pastries and Italian specialities, such as its Carres and Envoltinis. With these new additions, Ulabox is now distributing more than 50 Aunt Marian products, with numerous, attractive offers. All bread and pastries supplied from the Ulabox online bakery are baked on the day of delivery, so users can enjoy freshly-made bread and pastries without leaving the house.
At the same time, Europastry has started distributing its Crystal Burger through Foodinthebox, a new platform that has created a customized recipe to complement the crunchy crust and soft crumb of this ‘crystal bread’. Winner of the Pascual Startup Prize, Foodintheboxsuggests a burger for two, made with beef and veal, spinach, capers, black garlic, vine tomato, mustard and Camembert cheese.
“We have been using e-commerce for more than three years with our distributors, customers of the Horeca channel and bakeries. The logical step is to provide final consumer with access to our products, under the Aunt Marian brand. Our goal is to be present in this type of platforms and learn, contributing our products and innovation, so that in the near future we can establish relevant sales targets," commented Daniel Calvo, General Commercial Director at Europastry.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that Europastry products are also distributed by global giant Amazon, also under the Aunt Marian brand. Amazon customers can enjoy freshly baked products such as traditional loaves, Provençal baguettes, and Kornspitz baguettes and buns.
