Stock your bakery with Round Challah Breads for the upcoming Jewish high holidays.
Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are celebrated in the early part of September this year.
The coiled Round Challah Bread, sometimes referred to as a Turban Challah, is traditionally served during the Jewish high holidays in the Fall. You’ll see these distinctive breads on the table during Rosh Hashanah meals, and when families break their fast following Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement which calls for a full day of fasting.
Our frozen dough Round Challah Bread (#747) can be baked with just an egg wash or decorated with Poppy Seeds or Sesame Seeds. Our frozen dough Round Challah Bread with Raisins (#750) adds the additional sweetness of Raisins mixed in the dough. We’ve recently added two new challah breads to our offering. Both our plain and raisin Round Challah (#7747 and #7750) are now available with our clean label Challah recipe.
And be sure to let your customers know you’ll have their favorite round challah breads this year by baking a few in advance of the holidays so they’ll know just where to find these traditional breads for their holiday celebrations.
