between 200 and 250 trailers movement a day.
In commercial terms, it is important stress the growth
of internationalization
Europastry´s sales, which in this stretch
of the year they increased by about 30%, mainly by rising
its penetration in European markets and its recent entry
into the U.S. market with the opening of an own delegation

force outside our borders consolidates Europastry
as the third European producer of frozen dough, just
behind of big groups such as Lantmannen or Vandemoortele.
In Spain, the company is registering a remarkable increase
in their penetration of the foodservice channel, which
in 2009 achieved the 34% of sales, compared to 28% from
a year ago. During 2009, Europastry
posted a net turnover of 370 million €, with almost
the growth of 6% compared to 2008, through the marketing
of 145,000 tones of bread and 52,000 tons of bakery
products. Looking to this year will slow down its growth
to 4%, reaching sales in the vicinity of the 385 million
