Europastry expands Saint Honoré, its most exclusive bread range
In its first campaign of the year, the company is focusing on the Saint Honoré bread range with the launch of three important new varieties: Saint Honoré Alma Loaf, Saint Honoré Marquesa Loaf, and the Saint Honoré Cereal Loaf and Half Cereal Loaf.
Europastry, leader in Spain and fourth largest operator worldwide in the frozen dough sector, has launched its new bread varieties aimed at different customer profiles due to their versatility, variety of formats and flavours, quality and authenticity.
One of the main innovations is the expansion of the Saint Honoré range, Europastry’s high-street premium breads, which has rapidly established itself as one of the main go-to options for its customers. The range features the Saint Honoré Alma Loaf, Saint Honoré Marquesa Loaf, and the Saint Honoré Cereal Loaf and Half Cereal Loaf, breads that stand out due to their exclusive sourdough and the Saint Honoré process, an artisan hand-finished method that uses natural ingredients and gives the time that a good bread needs, with long proofing and fermentation periods.
Saint Honoré Alma Loaf is a coca (Catalonian flatbread) that uses olive oil in its recipe, lending a subtle and elastic character to the crumb. It is prepared with natural ingredients, and baked in a stone-base oven, making it the ideal table bread.
On the other hand, the Saint Honoré Marquesa Loaf is characterised by its loose, irregular and creamy crumb. It has an eye-catching grain thanks to its central incision. It’s an excellent loaf option for gourmet sandwiches.
Lastly, the Saint Honoré Cereal Loaf and Half Cereal Loaf stand out due to the two flours used –white and wholegrain– which form their dough, and the cereal grains in their recipe, which fully coat the crust: they include peeled sunflower seeds, golden linseed, brown linseed, toasted sesame, peeled sesame, poppy and pumpkin seeds, as well as oat flakes.
Marta Cortés, Marketing Director at Europastry, says “in Europastry, we are committed to innovation, but we always followartisan handmade manufacturing methods, and we are committed to obtaining the highest quality and taste for all our products.”
In addition to the new Saint Honoré range, Europastry has launched new varieties, such as its Sourdough Loaf, the Bijoux rustic roll, and its new Rosca, an authentic Galician multi-purpose bread that allows many adaptations.
