Europastry moves into premium hamburger buns with a new line at Vallmoll
Representing an investment of 18 million euros, the new line is notable for its high degree of innovation, which will enable production of hamburger buns of exceptional quality.
Europastry, a company specialising in the frozen dough sector, announces the expansion of its Vallmoll plant in Tarragona, following an investment of over 18 million euros in an innovative high-capacity production line.
Thanks to the latest technology included in the new line, maximum quality and uniformity are guaranteed in the process of producing the PanBurger range, which has successfully established itself in both the Spanish and international markets. One example is the Crystal Burger Bun, a 100% natural, additive-free bread with the Clean Label seal which is made with wild yeast and the long rising times that characterise the authentic traditional bread-making process.
In addition to the Crystal Burger Bun, the new line is also used to prepare pre-baked, ready-to-eat formats packaged for direct sale, like the hamburger bun variety packs.
This new line will make it possible to increase production at the Vallmoll plant by 8%, achieving an annual capacity of 90,000 t/year. Likewise, it will create 50 new jobs in the area, a strategic step for Europastry that once again confirms its commitment to innovation, quality, efficiency and competitiveness.
