Europastry presents new products for spring at the Alimentaria international trade fair
The company is launching its second campaign of products of the year, with new products in the bread, pastry and ready-meal families.
Europastry presented its second annual campaign with a selection of new products, at Alimentaria 2018, which took place in Barcelona from 16 to 19 April.
One outstanding new product, is a new mini version of the recently launched Rock&Roll, set to revolutionise the sandwich roll concept with its many cutting and filling possibilities.
The popular burger lover trend has increased, with three new references in Europastry’s PanBurger range: the Brioche Burger Bun 120 and 95, and the Poppy Seed & Sesame Burger Bun, all made with butter.
Lastly, the Italian touch is provided by the Focaccia Bianca, with its a bubbly crumb that sets off the flavour of any ingredient and is baked in a stone oven.
When it comes to pastries, Europastry has launched a new range of Swiss butter buns that comes in three varieties: traditional, with grains and topped with three types of quinoa and sugar balls.
Following the trend for small sizes, Europastry has also launched three Mini Croissants, hand filled with mango, apple or strawberry jam. Also mini-sized are the new Mini Bretzels, tempting loops of Danish pastry available in two flavours: cream and chocolate.
Another interesting addition to the pastry family is the new Mini Sweet Puff Pastry Assortment, a puff pastry cut into small portions with three, sweet fillings: cream, cocoa, and candied pumpkin.
The firm also presented the new Striped Dots, the highlight of the pastries campaign, half coated with dark chocolate with a creamy intense chocolate flavour filling.
New Grab & Go product trend
Lastly, Europastry has added to its Grab & Go options, with products you can eat anytime, anywhere, with a new line of Wraps, cosmopolitan sandwiches consisting of a wheat flour fajita with three succulent fillings. Ham and Cheese Wrap, a trendy, light version of the popular sandwich, the Roast Chicken Wrap, with a Mexican spirit featuring strips of roast chicken, Gouda cheese, red pepper and rocket, and the Tuna Wrap, with mouth-watering tuna, mayonnaise, red pepper, sweetcorn and rocket.
