Snacks are in the spotlight in Europastry's second campaign of the year

Europastry, the leading company in the frozen dough sector, presents its new snacks in its second annual campaign.
The new products are distinguished by their handmade production and the high quality of their ingredients. With this in mind, Marta Cortés, Europastry’s Marketing Director, stressed that “we wanted to offer our customers fresh and highly traditional products, while at the same time adding an innovative twist with original, top-quality ingredients”.
As a result, the new traditional, made-in-Galicia empanadas lend origin and tradition to this campaign.They come in two versions: the Traditional Tuna Empanada and the Traditional Scallop Empanada, both of which remain faithful to the traditional round format and are made with shortcrust pastry and top-quality ingredients: the former contains tuna, roasted pepper and tomato, while the latter contains Galician bay scallops, cream cheese and onion.
Within its family of empanadas, Europastry has also launched its Beef Cheek Empanada, a small, rectangular gourmet empanada made with thin dough and a cordon bleu filling: shredded beef cheek, demi-glace sauce, foie, onion and a touch of black pepper; and the Traditional Zorza Empanada, which is rectangular and made in the traditional style with bread dough and filled with zorza (pork marinated in paprika, oil and spices), and smoked cheese. This empanada follows the same ancient recipe that families used when they brought the left-overs of their stews to the bakery, where they were used to fill empanadas, coated with the oil from the bottom of the pan.
NEW THIN-CRUST PIZZAS
Also worth mentioning is the launch - under the Kentes brand - of six varieties of thin-crust pizzas. Made with mother dough, these pizzas follow a manual process and are left to rest for long periods before being baked in the oven. The pizza toppings, which account for 60% of the total weight, include top-quality ingredients. These are the varieties that have just been launched: Bacon & Portobello Mushroom Thin Pizza, Four Cheese and Walnut Thin Pizza, Margherita Thin Pizza, Ham & Cheddar Thin Pizza, Vegan Thin Pizza, and BBQ Thin Pizza. Finally, the company has also launched the Thin Pizza Base and the Classic Pizza Base.
